Read our review guidelines A-OK. I took my car for the first time. Its ok facility. Noting early shattering in terms of service other than the fact that they have a fancy email sent out with all the issues. They took a preautorization to spend up to $200 to diagnose the problem and fix any repairs and the fix ultimately costed me $400. The same problem was diagnosed by a different facility prior to me coming here was diagnosed for free in less than 10 mins. In essence you are a captive customer since you approved $200. Bottom line Cost is not cheap and other facilities in the area have lower price and free diagnostics for sure. Even oil change is expensive almost double the walmart and other areas. Nice people but definitely not at all competitive in terms of pricing. I don't plan on going back

I bought a used 2003 Toyota Avalon (i.e. junker) with 162K miles with a check engine light on. They a full diagnostic for free. Very thorough. However, the stated repairs were overpriced. Two other shops quoted in the area for almost 50% less. For example, they recommended new rotors in the back that were not needed because the rear rotors were not warped. Diagnostics on the engine light were could be three major repairs to fix and they recommend to complete them all. I stopped and retrieved the car when the total estimate reached $3K... If you have unlimited funds, these are the guys for you. If not, do your homework and save $$$.

Hi Gary, Thanks for the Feedback on your last visit for the 2003 Toyota Avalon. I double checked the full diagnostic report on your vehicle. Thank you for amending the first pass of the review. Shows a lot of character on your part and I respect this. Remember when comparing to others remember to also check that the warranty is also the same. (Apples to apples) I believe the "others in the area" were phone quotes? We did the hands on, no guessing testing and inspections to find the issues and make the recommendations to do it right in the most affordable way possible but without cutting corners and making a long term repair that will last. Ours for example is a nationwide 3 years or 36,000 miles. As such we do use the best parts and top level technicians to be sure quality is not sacrificed over price. For an example when replacing brakes, machining or replacing the rotors are the correct way to do this type of work. Just replacing the brake pads (pad slap) is not recommended as the accepted way to do this work. Below are the technicians notes and recorded readings that after machining the rear brake rotors would be below factory minimum safety specifications. I hope you would agree that the minimum safe material discard should be followed. ******************************************************* Technicians Notes: Rear rotors are hot spotted and warped causing vibration in vehicle while braking need to replace pads and rotors LR 0.437 current readings (Left rear rotor) RR 0.468 current readings (right rear rotor) Will be below discard (0.433 in) after resurface, recommend replace rotors. ***************************************************************** We are sorry you were unable to realize the real value of the service performed or appreciate not being charged on this visit. We appreciate your business and wish you well in the future.
